I like to read a good book and I think it still makes me think as it used
to but that's just me.
There is something to be said of a tempera painting, when you see it in the
flesh. It's glow is surreal, amongst other things. I fell in love with
"old" art again after visiting the J Paul Getty Museum in the Santa Monica
Mountains and fell out of love with net art which BTW I was never in love
with and never engaged with with the same intensity. But that's just me.
Thought can be provoked in many ways and a lack of approval by the
fashionista does not diminish provocative or evocative qualities.
